Easter weekend was a huge success at Roxboro Dragway in Timberlake North Carolina. With SIX of E.S.E's BADDEST Earth Shakers, the fans were on their feet for the entire show! We started off with a BANG as Jim Phillips and his beautiful Mustang bodied Funny car ran a 4.22 to put away Tony Cannoy in the Mad Scientist Funny Car who ran into tire shake. Next up was Jim Dickey and his 3 second Altered that came out swinging when he RIPPED 3.98 on his very first pass as a member of Earth Shaking Entertainment!!!!! The crowd went CRAZY but E.S.E was far from done! Right behind Jim Dickey we had the Mill Road Boys Nostalgia Top Fuel Front Engine Dragster -vs- Bill Naves with his Shooting Star Alcohol Funny Car. Naves was out first but ran into teeth rattling tire shake as Ernie Mclean thundered down the 1/8th mile with an amazing 3.94!

Second round of competition was a WILD one . After two HUGE burnouts we had one of the closest races of the day when Jim Dickey took the win light WHILE taking out the cones at the finish line. Jim managed an impressive 4.03 with his Altered before hitting the cones to beat Delbert Whites loosing 4.04 effort. Up next was Jim Phillips who gave the fans a MONSTER burnout! We could read both sides of Jim's car while he was lighting them up! Jim rattled off a 4.18 in the second round and he would be heading to the finals. The second round of competition featured Bill Naves in his best of three grudge match with Mcleans Fueler. Naves took the next shot with an amazing 4.14 effort against the Fueler's 4.15! This wrapped up the 2nd round.

With 3,000 horsepower in each lane, the Roxboro fans had thought they had seen it all when in the final round of competition, with the sun going down and the tempetures cooling off Jim Dickey ripped a 3.96 career best -vs- Jim Phillips 4.13 to take the win. This is one of the baddest Altereds on the east coast! Then Earth Shaking Entertainment kicked the tires and lit the Fires with The Mill Road Boys Nostalgia Top Fuel Dragster cackling with Flames as he won a pedal fest against Bill Naves Shooting Star Funny car in their 3rd round of competition!

This was Roxboro Dragways BIGGEST crowd turnout in its long history, and with shows like this one, Roxboro and Earth Shaking Entertainment are sure to break some more records in the near Future! I would like to thank competitors and fans as well as the staff of Roxboro Dragway for helping in making this not only a record breaking event but one that will not soon be forgotten!

I also want to thank the SIX EARTH SHAKERS that attended our second show at Eastside Dragway in Virginia. Bunny Burkett's Godson, Gary "Little Bear" Pritchett had low et of the meet with a 4.14 in the finals beating Bunny. This was one of those tracks that was just hard to get a handle on. Two teams had mechanical failure but the crowd still LOVED the show in the end. With monster burnouts and wild driving these Earth Shakers gave the fans what they wanted! Bunny Burkett, Little Bear, Mike Gibbs, Rocky Pirrone, Ron Hill and Greg Beckner did a great job for E.S.E with less then perfect conditions!
