dykes rings or???

    i will be ordering pistons this week and im unsure what rings i should have them set the piston up with. i have a bbc hh 8 71 retro blower alcohol injection and will be running it anywhere from 25 to 35% overdriven. do i need dykes rings for the top ring or just run a 1/16 ring whats everyone recommend? i have talked to different piston manufactures and get different answers.

    i run bbc with dyke top ring gapless 2nd ring had good luck with it

    We run HellFire rings in our BBC no blower, on 25% Nitro, as recommended by Arias Pistons :cool:

    rings

    we've run regular and .017 dykes always with standard second. We have the most runs with .017 dykes and have never had a problem.
    I think we get them from Ackerly and Childs.
