I want to put to an end of any speculation in regards to the Dream Weaver racing team and their racing plans.

I see that according to TopAlcohol, based on a reliable source, the Weavers would be returning to the Division 7 trail this year. This is incorrect.

As per a phone conversation my father had with Mardel Weaver ( co-owner of the team and a very reliable source ) the Weavers will NOT be running the car this year at all. The entire operation is up for sale ( as it has been for the last year ) and will not be run again unless a major sponsor comes on board.

If anybody has any questions in regards to this topic, feel free to pm me. Mel and Mardel dont have internet access and asked me to respond to these rumours and set the record straight.

    Thank you

Dream Weaver goes to the dogs

    Howdy!
Just thought I would let you know that I was with Mel and Mardel from Tues to Sunday at the Winternationals. As you know John was driving for Meer Capitol Partners last year (10th in the world and tied for #1 in division 7), but is currently without a ride. Mel is working on John Pattons (Foolish Money) TAFC crew, doing the same thing he did on his own car (Making sure the thing has oil and fuel in it). Anyhow, when we got to Pamona, we heard all about the rumors that we were going to run division 7. Well after thinking about it, we figured that the guard dogs (ha ha) at the shop decided to go racing and took the car out of the box. The bad news is that unless a major sponser pops up, the weavers will not run the car anymore. It is in fact for sale. The whole deal, trailer, car, motors, blowers, 25 years worth of racing parts and pieces. Heck, maybe we can talk John Patton into running two TAFC's with John Weaver driving one... Anyhow, God Bless the Weavers.. I hope they keep racing until they get to that big sand trap in the sky...
