Ken Cox was famous for the lay-down FC chassis. Steve McCracken built a dragster for us in the mid 1980's but I won't ruin a good thread.

    RIP.

Anyone know what Roger McCracken is up to?

My first ta/fc ( arrow body) was a Ken Cox chassis, and he mounted an Iverson vette body in 1980 for me- As I was from out of country he let me watch and learn (I really learned to keep my mouth shut! while he worked and assisted very little) He was a craftsman to say the very least. Fond memories of him and his lovely daughter- RIP Kenny!

Info: Wake For Steve Mc Cracken

I recieved info about a wake for Steve Mc Cracken, anyone who knew him
    is welcome.

Steve McCracken's wife (Maryellen) has informed us that an Irish wake will be held to celebrate Steve's life on Tuesday April 25th at 5:00pm. This is to be a celebration of life, not a funeral. No BLACK clothes will be allowed. The dress code is casual, there will be Mexican food available (Steve's favorite) and it is to be as light-hearted as possible.

Both Mary and Steve were very active members of the gun club. Steve was involved in competition skeet shooting.

The wake will be held at:

    San Gabriel Valley Gun Club
    4001 Fish Canyon Road
    Duarte, CA. 91010-1699
    Phone # 626-358-9906
    http://www.sangabrielvalleygunclub.com/
Wake starts at 5:00 PM on Tuesday April 25th
