Reports around the internet put Lee Beard's son Zach Beard in a Dunkin Donuts sponsored A/FD in Gainesville & Atlanta as a two race market test.

Any ideas on who's A/FD he'll be driving? Conway or Gallant would be my guesses.

    Randy Meyer

from what I understand Diana Harker will be driving Randy's car in Valdosta and the rest of the season....he sold his second car to Tom Conway (Travis Nicholson ride)

I applaud Dunkin donuts for getting involved in this sport. But I sure hope they don't judge their exposure by the lack of coverage given to the Alky classes. Now if their commitment is solely based on an Alky team budget than so be it.

A policeman pulls a man over for speeding and asks him to get out of the car.
After looking the man over he says, "Sir, I couldn't help but notice your eyes are bloodshot. Have you been drinking?"
The man gets really indignant and says, "Officer, I couldn't help but notice your eyes are glazed. Have you been eating doughnuts? :D

How in the hell is Zach Beard going to race at the Gator or Southern Nationals without any grading points?...or did I miss something?

    scoop

From what I gather, Diana Harker will still be driving the car with the Duncan Donuts sponsorship in Gainesville and Atlanta. Zach Beard will be completing his license this weekend in Valdosta. He will not be able to compete in national events this year due to the new 18 year old rule (he's 17). If age wasn't a factor, he would be able to enter due to Randy Meyer's car owner grade points. From what I gather, he will get some experience this year at some points races. He currently holds a SC license, but most of his racing experience is from carting.
