Dowel Pins

I'm having problems with bellhousing dowel pins falling out, BBC both GM CNC blocks and Dart Big M
Anyone else experienced this?

 

use green loctite.or tap and thread

 

Try having the potion in the block knurled,( on a lathe ) coarse if loose fine if not to bad
This should solve that headache or you could do what secondwindracing's suggested , measure hole, find grade 8 bolt to size cut excess thread (how long to screw into block)
cut off shoulder to length, cut slot in end to be able to screw into block. Don't forget to check alignment from Crank Hub. you can pm me if you have any questions
