Division 1 National Open - Lebanon Valley

John Finke and Dan Mercier brought their cars out to Lebanon Valley this weekend for some side-by-side test runs.

In the first round Mercier, in the left lane, left way late and shook hard. He drove through it to record a 6.15 at 250.37. Meanwhile Finke was on a good pass until the blower belt broke resulting in a 5.92 at 205.04.

In the second round it was Finke's turn to shake hard and he shut it off with no time or speed recorded. Just to even things out, Mercier's belt broke at the hit and recorded a 15.46.

They'll both be around tomorrow and with better air and better luck they should both run well. I won't be there Sunday so I'm hoping someone else will fill us in on what happens.

Good side by side pass , we ran a 5.61 ET in the left lane and John ran a 5.67 ET in the right lane at 254 MPH . The fans really appreciate that run.
