    Hi

Is there differences between the Lenco Fine, and Coarse Spline Gearset ratios? Will they interchange?

Found a Complete Box, cheaper than purchasing the Ratios seperately, but I have a Fine Spline Box, and the Lenco for sale, is a Coarse Spline Unit.

    Thanks in Advance

I'll take a shot. As far as I know the ratios are numerically the same but they don't interchange because if you have fine spline, the ring gears are going to be coarse. I guess if you are just trying to repair the ratio's you have the planet gears and sun should be the same but the ring won't work. If you want to change the ratio's you need coarse shafts. This is all if I understood you correctly.

    Fine v coarse

Fine spline is a tougher / durable box in my limited expirence, and possibly easier for obtaining parts

You can intermix them.for instense;all 25%'s (1.25ratio) are fine spline. I had a 2.19 low 4 speed. The reverser input shaft and the rear 25% planets were fine spline and the rear 25% ring gear and the rest of the gear sets were coarse. But they do not make adapter intermidiate shafts.
