    Monroe is about halfway in, and he did a great job of telling his side of the story about the crash, his NHRA suspension and the Hoosier tires that caused all the trouble. I think if you listen to him, you might be surprised about what happened.

    I do not personally know Monroe, but after listening to the story I would bet everyone of us would have done the same thing as they did given the same information they had with the tires. Interesting interview.

    Yeah, that sounds just about right. I don't blame him one bit. Very cool that they are going to replace the other racers car, looks like the ...hra's would have some kind of no fault insurance to cover your car if another racer crashes into you....this is"nt circle track racing.

    Best wishes

    That's just crappy all the way around. Best of luck and best wishes to Monroe and the gang. Its a shame that everytime something happens in drag racing theres always a scapegoat and it never seems to be the correct person. When Antron browns tire blew off and killed a lady did anything ever come out of that? Surely they had no idea it was going to happen, so whats changed here? The very fact that Hoosier brought them back instead of going over and saying hay we have a bulletin on our web site regarding these tires not asking about the manufactured date or anything else is just nuts. My hats off to Monroe for replacing his car, Your a true sportsman.

    I hope things get better for Monroe, Joe, and Todd and wish them all my best.

    Sincerely,
    Trevor Sherwood

    //wtf//

    I'm starting to wonder if NHRA is a government agency....I don't see much common sense being used,,,again...if the driver is accountable for the actions of crewchief and crew, why isn't Hoosier accountable for actions of rep on site?or in real terms,why is the driver not held to the same level as the product manufacturer?Don't get me wrong,I use Hoosiers and I have no issues with the rep doing his job as he was told.
    If the warning was not posted by nhra on our website, it doesn't exist!
    I think all drivers are at risk and we assume the manufactures would not knowingly tip the scales..Impact?....Do I see SFI looking out for us?$$$$$$
    Good luck on your appeal.Thank God no one paid the ultimate price.

    yet another interview

    Monroe will be on talking again, but this time sadly about his appeals being denied for the final time. He is schedule to be on www.thesamauxierjrshow.com Monday September 12th @ 7pmEST. I'm looking to talk NHRA, Hoosier, pulling sponsorship from the NHRA and his new love of golf.

    any questions? email us!! gofastradio@yahoo.com

    I don't ask questions twice, so look forward to hearing some new facts!!
