I'm giving my age away here but I remember when a friend of mine bought a 409'" chey factory mussel car and we would take it to San Fernando and race against Dick. At that time Dick had a small used car lot on Van Nuys Blvd. not far from Bob's Big Boy which was a major hang out. He was a major contributor to Drag Racing and will surely be missed. RIP Dick and our thoughts and prayers for his family.
