    congratulations

Even though I have never had the pleasure to meet Dave, I did have the good fortune to have one of his cars ( one of Don's cars) for three years and think it was the best car I have had (other than my current car of course).
congratulations to you Dave, you have earned it!

Dave Uyehara...Chassis builder to the Stars.

Built the dragster that was "First in the Fours" (Eddie Hill)

Didn't he also build the first alky car to run in the 5's? Steve Faria's run at Sonoma a hundred years ago?

Multiple TAD/TA/FC World Championships between Jay Payne in TAD and Brad Anderson in TA/FC.

The only chassis builder to crash test many of his own cars. He crashed them in ways you wouldn't think possible.

Plus, he single handedly put Yuba City on the map.

RG (Proud owner of the quickest Uyehara built TA/FC @ 5.553 with Marc White at the wheel, February 2004)

World's Oldest Living Kamakazi Pilot !

    Congrats Davey !
Another one for your list after last year's CHRR induction.
As some know, Davey is highly regarded on my list at #2, only behind D. Long.
Anyone else find it odd that the three of us that got "fired" from the SFI chassis committee seemed to have forgotten all we've learned in forty + years ?
