HIRATA'S NEW LOOK, NEW CAR FOR VIRGINIA

Hirata Motorsports, Torco, Skull Shine a/fuel dragster has brought a new package to Virgina for the nats. We got new pipe, new look, fresh paint still drying and dry clothes. We hate to have to come back to Virginia but it actually helped us get the car more ready. Our week before we left was chaos. Thanks to my great crew and friends, we got this car ready enough to load last Wednesday, threw all the pieces in the trailer and took off. We finished the car in the rain last weekend. Still have some things to finish but should be ready. Its bitchin lookin. The best looking race car I've had. My resto and custom shop, HAMMER'D, did a killer job in the crunch. We have had time to catch up on some sleep too. I pulled an all nighter last Tuesday. Acutally 23 hours cause i took a 1 hour nap in the truck Wednesday morning. I got to give thanks to the best crew out there: Pete Brady, Chrystal & Zach Ingram, Carolyn & Dean Davies, Dale Bollerud, Byron Inouye, Jim Courson, my mom & dad, my girl Molly. They have been so valuable. They will dust it up with the best of them. And I can not do this with out the support of Torco Racing Fuels www.torco.com, Skull Shine, NGK, Lowell Body Shop, Lowell Automotive & Radiator, HAMMER'D www.hiratamotorsports.com, NAPA Service Auto Parts, Full Bore, R&R Rods www.rrconnectingrods.com, Rose RV Sales www.roservsales.com. THEY MAKE IT HAPPEN Except for driver SCREW UP, our car ran great at the Columbus Div 3 race. Its the same drive train, just new pipe. Hopefully our crew dont want to trade me in for a new driver.
