Hirata Motorsports 2008 Indy Div 3 opener. Us against Mom Nature.

The opening division 3 race at Indy is always as questionable as our first hit of the year. Traditionally it is not a weather friendly race. It’s always a 50/50 chance race for us. Mother Nature did not cooperate again this year. This puts us back to back with the Atlanta nats. Those back to backers are always tough. That piled on top of our financial issues with this season just makes any race tougher.

I’m pretty positive going into this race. At least we got a few hits in Gainesville. The .36 tune up is our baseline. And we made our mag bracket since Gainesville. That shake and subsequent braking of both mag cap bases let us to get that damn bracket done. It cost us a sure fire first round win. I consider Indy a home town track for us. We’ll see all our division 3 friends. We do have the best division.
