Danny Townsend

Just thought I would post up what a great day it was at Indy D3 event yesterday. Danny Townsend was named the Grand Marshall of the event. In a ceremony they retired Danny's competition number 312 forever. A great tribute to a good friend. They had a suite set up for Danny and friends in the tower. It soon became a small reunion of people who were crew for Danny over the years. Lots of great stories with some good racing on track thrown in for good measure. Thanks Danny for bringing me into this sport more than 15 years ago. I have loved every minute of it.

 

I remember Danny was such a Huge hitter in D-3 back in the 90's! Sad to see him retired!!
