Kracht looking to keep momentum going after First WIN

Topeka, KS. - Only four events in and Omaha, NE resident, Dan Kracht collected his first NHRA event win behind the wheel of the Randy Meyer Racing A/Fuel Dragster. This weekend will see the Meyer Racing team compete against twenty other teams at the NHRA O’Reilly Summer Nationals.

Kracht who earned his NHRA competition license last year began his rookie driving career with Randy Meyer in March. The duo plan to compete at thirteen events this season and already are turning heads with Meyer’s impeccable crew chief and teaching abilities combined with Kracht’s consistent driving skills.

Kracht and Meyer wheeled their way into the final round of competition at the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event held at the Texas Motorplex back in April but it was last weekend’s event at Brainerd International Raceway that gave Kracht his first NHRA win and Meyer another win as a team owner, crew chief and teacher.

“I am looking forward to competing against all the other teams here this weekend” comments Kracht “We have a team capable of going rounds and putting on a competitive show for all our family, guests and friends here supporting myself and Randy this weekend.”

Qualifying for the Top Alcohol Funny Cars and Dragsters begins Friday at 11am and 2:30pm with final session on Saturday at 10:00am. Eliminations for the Top Alcohol category begin Saturday afternoon at 3:30pm following the Professional Cars qualifying session. Sunday will see the conclusion of Eliminations for all NHRA categories.
