Our stuff is for tractor pulling and not all my parts are crower brand, but they are slipper clutches. We like to balance the flywheel on the crank, after the crank has been done (found a brand new bad one last year, the center hole wasn't centered) and the pressure plate by itself, than these can get put on any of our motors and they will be balanced.

    We don't check any discs.

As far as I know, there isn't a way to "correct" the balance if it is out very much on a billet SFI certified clutch. Most of the time, when you're smacking rear mains, you won't see it out of balance. You have to spin it fast enough to get it to start deflecting, which usually will take 6,000-8,000 rpm on a typical Crower. 98 times out of 100, an out of balance condition in the can will be because the flywheel, donut and hat see over 1500*F in a matter of seconds, heating and cooling isnt always consistent throughout the clutch. Anyone who has run an aluminum flywheel for an extended period of time probably knows where I'm going with this.

Bottom line, if your billet clutch stuff is out of balance, replace it. If it's new and is out of balance, then you better return it!
