Nick I hate to be the bearer of bad news ,But that's not the car that won, the car that won is mickeys car the city carting car, the one here is my brother Vic's car, although My brother Anthony is the crew cheif on Mickys car

 

Oops! My bad. They do have something in common though.

Ferro's car now has the name of his new major sponsor, RYCO Hydraulics, on the side of it where City Carting Co. used to be. Those are some ecstatic people in the winner's circle.

As we sat in the staging lanes before final round. we the teams said there would be no losers in this run. Mickey and his crew are some of the most
talented down to earth people i have met in our d-1 funny car family. they certainly EARNED THE WIN RUNNING KILLER #'S ALL WEEKEND and showing just how talented they really are.. We were privelaged to be in the final with them and it was a privelege to be the first to congratulate them on the line and especially Mickey at the big end.. what a day!!!!!!

Well said Scott!! You both deserve congratulations. I bet the heart rates of Mickey and Paul were higher than their launch rpm!! Running a 5.80 in div 1 will be like taking a knife to a gun fight.

 

Way to go guys. Its great to see a couple of D-1 cars in the finals and running the numbers that were put down. Mickey and crew, you guys deserve it! Cant wait to see what the rest of the season hold for the best division in the country.
