those cones can be tricky... keep one eye on them, one eye on the track...

Since your on the subject of staying in your lane how was Clint Thompson DQ'ed I thought first foul gets the DQ ?

    uh-uh

    first or worst...

Ex: If two people red light, its the first one that will get DQ'd... If one red lights and the other crosses the line, the one that crossed is DQ'd...

last year they had an issue when a Pro Stock Bike got a red light, then the other competitor crossed the "imaginary wall" line... well technically the one that crossed the line should have been DQ'd, but since he was only doing it to keep oil off the track they let it slide (an icky scenario)...

PS: Im not 100% sure, but I believe that if two cars are to either smack the wall or cross the line on the same run, both are DQ'd...

I think it was a number of issues.

1)The right lane has a tendency to pull you towards the centerline.

2)Tire shake at this race seemed to be heavier than normal.

3)There was a pretty stiff cross wind for much of Sunday.

4)There were a couple cars that I thought were lined up crooked.

5)There were some cars that were completely overdriven.

Coming from a guy who has hit more than his share of cones and foam blocks I think there should be a score attached to the cones. Like bowling? The 7-10 split could be tough at over 245mph. I think I left an open frame at Mission? Of course there was that gutter ball I tossed at Woodburn. LOL
