Has anyone running a brad billet block ever switched to the cn or vise versa?

I had a miner block that was machined by cn and I loved it but the forging was supplied by miner.

I am building an all new motor with veney top end but cant decide between the brad block or the cn. want to build 4-3/8 or 4-7/16 bore.

TFX or Brad, don't know of many KB's being ran in alky. CN is a very nice piece, just don't see any reason to justify the big difference in price. If you ran a SBC setup, their block is by far the best thing available.

    cn blocks

I'm going to build a 572 for a 2-wheel drive pulling truck. Just wondering if the brad or the cn will hold up better with the bigger bore 4.437 or 4.467.

I think the brad is a billet forging and the cn is just billet plate.

    CN billet blocks

There can be alot of differences between these two blocks,CN can machine the block with starter location in block,if what ever you are doing requires self starting, they offer a wide pan rail design that alot of the promod guys use for ease of bottom end work.custom deck height,70 mm cam tunnel,or whatever size you want, head bolt patern of choice, lifter location.these are some of the things you get when ordering a CN block-VS a brad.

check out the billet blocks from LSM. They are a tfx style block that looks killer. comes with bushed lifters and h11 studs for around 8k I believe
