My question is, why are the Chutes coming off of all the cars? Way too many of these off the end of the track accidents, are caused because the chutes are laying on the track at the finish line. I know that this isn't always the case, but there has been a bunch of accidents in the last 3-4 years, where the chutes came off the car. I can tell you that I am going to take a good look at the mounts, etc. on my car. Hopefully we can get a handle on this before we lose another great member of our sport.

    Godspeed Mark..........

    chute failures

I noticed that to,but more importantly,we were doing a marketing presentation with a sponsor and told him to watch the racing over the weekend. He did ant he noticed the chutes, thank God they are a textile plant that are very interested in racing, with there own R&D and stress testing lab,my chutes and safety equipment was delivered to them on Monday, hopefully they will find a weak link in the chutes. If anyone has anything to add please email me and it will get where it needs to go.
    Thanks Rick M

FOR THE RECORD IT IS NOT TO STIR UP STUFF FROM THE OTHER SAFETY AND FIRE SUIT DEALS. MY STUFF IS FROM OTHER REPUTABLE COMPANIES THAT WOULD NOT OBJECT TO THERE TESTING BECAUSE THEY WANT THE FEEDBACK AND THE RESULTS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THEM.

    Chutes

My understanding is the chutes were mounted to the rear end housing and they riped the housing off just like Alexis car at E- Town we should not mount chute's there any more years ago they made a strap that went around the rear end housing banjo and the chute's threaded throught it no pin's
