Chute and burst panel tethers

    Looking for advice on which chute and tether device I should buy for 2011 season. Called Amick and just got put in endless voicemail loop. Anyone get these two items and are satisified with them? If so, can I get a contact and number to call? Thanks in advance to all ITA folks.

    C and R racing

    Steve, call C & R Racing for the chute tethers. They distribute the Amick tethers. I believe this is their info., C&R RACING INC - Indianapolis, Indiana - 317.293.4100

    Don't know if DT has anything available as yet.

    heads up on burst panel tethers

    Heads up on burst panel tethers. Make sure you order the correct length. Some teams are having tethers built to different lengths. We ordered the long ones and still they are barely going to work. Measure your panel plate to body tree dimension and make sure that dimension matches what you are ordering.

    seems like we should just be able to hinge the front of the panel
    this would allow it ot open then go back down, like we do the excape hatches
    then it would stay with the car

    Mckinney makes the burst panel teethers also i beleive he makes them 16"
