Chris Demke question??

I hope Mr. Demke is feeling better and the cobwebs are starting to clear out.

I was looking on NHRA points and noticed that Chris has such a large lead in the Div. 7 all stars points that he has pretty much clinched the All Stars spot (especially since the next 2 D7 races are in September so I assume Sonoma was the last race to count towards this year's all stars).

Assuming Mr. Demke is physically able, will another racer loan him a ride for that race? Will the 2nd place driver in points get the spot?

I haven't heard but am guessing his current ride was totally destroyed and don't know if they can get a new ride together (of if that is even in the plans at all).

Beyond the racing, I am thankful that Chris not hurt worse than he was and if what I read is accurate, should have a full recovery. That is the best news to come from this accident.

I'm not for certain, but i do believe that there is a second peen rite car. I had planned on asking chris those very same questions but i was going to give him some time. If i hear anything i will keep it posted.

 

This should answer the questions on if the car was totaled. I am thankful he was okay.
