carbon injector

    Just purchased a roots jbr four blade hat 70 sq in from rbs....changing out from a superbird (middle square door)...would there be a big change in fuel system other the leakin down the bv? Im just changing the hat nothing else...

    Could be. It depends on the airflow difference between your old hat and the JBR hat. Does the JBR hat bottom hole match the opening in the top of the blower?

    Jbr is about a 1/2" short on the backside....it has a divider built in to hat....original hat was flush with blower..

    Being a half inch sort is not as bad as the hat being a half inch to long and creating a step for the airflow. Some of the hats have enough meat back there that they can be ground off some and matched. The ultimate is to get a custom spacer made that adapts the hat exit size to the blower inlet size plus raises the hat up and moves it forward 4". These spacers can give you up to a 150 hp. I know exactly which hat you have and added the spacer that was custom made by DMP and it was a great improvement.
