    The Medicine Hat Drag Race Association (MHDRA) presents the inaugural
    “Top Alcohol Shootout.”
    Sponsored by Mopac Auto Supply

    July 1-2, 2005 at the MHDRA track in Medicine Hat, Alberta Canada Alberta’s only NHRA track and most improved track for division six in 2004

    Friday Night, July 1st
    – Open qualifying for Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funnycar

    Saturday Night, July 2nd
    – Eliminations:

    The winner of Funnycar will face the winner of Dragster, to determine the overall winner.
    (Handicap start based on the difference, in the current national records)

    $5000.00 to the overall winner.

    First in the 5’s money (for both classes)
    $500.00 will be sponsored by Mopac Auto Supply.
    $500.00 Low E.T. money (for each class) will be also be awarded

    Also for the first time Top Comp and Super Street will race at MHDRA.
    As well as all brackets and Jr. Dragster.

    Thanks for posting our release, we are new to putting on Top Alcohol races and need all the promotion that we can get. We have had great interest from all over the northwest, and are expecting a great turnout. I'll keep you up to date as we are expecting more special award sponsors for, fan favorite (as voted by the fans),top speed for both classes etc.
