Bumped

NHRA lets the schedule get behind on the first day of their racing season, then an alcohol funny car makes a mess, and what do they decide. Let's bump the alcohol dragsters til late. Guess nothings changed!

 

What that dragsters got to run on a FAR better race track than the funny cars? I know, diggers catch all the breaks.

Before you get on the NHRA hates us rag, that mess was rather large and took a long time for even the national event crew to clean up. TAFC was pretty hard on the supply of absorbent all weekend with at least 1 cleanup per session, and I believe Q1 had at least 2. So if anybody screwed anyone, TAFC's downtime actually caused the bumping.

I know your right Justin, I was just sitting here waiting for a TAD session on the audiocast, and was disappointed to miss it. Probably grouchy cause we weren't there racing in person, also.
Maybe every Lucas Oil class feels like they get slapped (bumped) more than the others. It would be funny to see them send the Pros back to their pits just once, when they make a mess on the track. Doubt we'll ever see that.

I hear ya there.. And yeah, ask any Comp to Super Street racer about getting bumped. They at least typically still give Alky a session compared to those classes. There definitely are times where the Pros deserve a timeout!!!

 

I would agree with you both , but the worst I CAN REMEBER was that Damned DIESEL DIGGER that shut us down in Joliet WHO WAS HE ?
