building stainless collector headers for promod and have a question.

    Building stainless collector headers for promod and and i want to put bungs on underside of primaries. How far should they be from valve stem or head surface and what would that location egts be. Cool, good, too hot?
    Engine is 528 hemi dmpe set up with stage five water heads on methanol.

    2 inches from the flange.
