Brooks Rods

    Venolia makes them. They bought the tooling. 1000.00 set for a hemi.

    I called Venolia today and had a long talk with them and the are making what used to be the Brooks rods. They are making only the B2 rod which Venolia calls the V2 rod and they are also making the Top Fuel Rod. The weights of the Venolia versions are close enough to the original Brooks rods that the no rebalancing is required. They also made minor modifiacations to the rods to update them a little. Five of the guys that worked at Brooks now work at Venolia making these rods.

    Venolia rods

    Ran Brooks in the KB Olds & in BBC's for yrs & ran Venolia pistons. Sent Venolia a sample of my B2 rod & 2 weeks later got an awesome set of rods back. A little more $ but the quick turn was worth it to me. Just my opinion, Dale "Lurch" Wilkens

    Dale you better get a watch dog..I need some new rods....lets see 70 miles to Dale shop!!!!! and Dale being 6 foot 8 and ripped.Im going to keep my whimpy ass in pittsburg..going to call venolia monday..Dave
