Why don't you just call Jerry at Brooks and ask him???

Not everything you read on the internet is true, and not every post on a web site is right.

The obvious thing to do, he is a busy man and I did not want to bother him with lame questions. Can call him if no-one really knows the answer.
    Thanks

Trust me, Jerry is not so busy he won't gladly answer your questions. The only "lame" question is the one you didn't ask.

You are seeking information on rod design/material and Jerry is the only one qualified to give you the kind of answers you are looking for. I read the Q&A's here all the time and believe me there is a lot of misinformation given even by the "experts" on this and every web site.

    Tell Jerry I said "Hi."
