I was called by Terry Morrow of AJPE and asked to clear up some rumors floating around.

Brooks Rods were not bought by AJPE.

AJPE bought the material rights from Bruce Walker of Childs & Albert several years ago.

AJPE is working to develop an alcohol rod with the same weight as the Brooks so that racers can keep the same bobweight.

I heard the rods were actually being manufactured at Venolia as per AJPE.

    New Rods

If the "material" is the "DEEP CYCLE" stuff that C&A used , should be one Tuff Rod

Anybody got a comment on those rods that C&A labeled with that name ??

    AJPE ? Rods

Don't call AJPE , their getting enough calls already .

The BIG surprise is coming soon !!!!!

The "word" is --- One of Our favorite "ROD" people is heading up the AJPE rod program in a separate , although "connected" manufacturing facility !!! (not Venolia)

It's a 3 way deal ; AJ, the "Material" & the 'ROD MAN' , To produce the BEST ROD YET !!

There will be a lot of racers using these rods !!!

    More to come !!

Any updates on Brooks rod replacements? About that time to start to order and would rather not have to goof with the bobweight.

X2 an update would be nice. I would like to buy a set of rods that I don't have to re-balance.
