Ex aspirated race water block that lost a cylinder. Number 2 web cracked as per pictures both sides of the web.
Thinking of converting to a street engine, low HP engine.
Has anyone been successful in "V"ing out, welding and machining up with a web crack?

Any guidance to a welding process would also be appreciated.
    cheers

I have few several like that !!! The crack has to be 100% ground out to a v on both sides Also needs to be welded with an inverter style machine a standard TIG welder does not have the balls to get a good fast penetrating' weld
