New Manley Nextek "49" springs that are breaking at the retainer side at the very end (the break is about 1/2-3/4" from the end of the outer spring). Primarily exhaust side springs. This is on a 450" Brad V in a pro mod that is shifted at 9000. It has been on the 9500 rpm limiter a few times because of bad shift light. Does anyone have any suggestions in prepping springs or in a specific retainer? Would being on the chip cause the breakage. Any insight would be appreciated.
