    corrected altitude 2655 feet, 5,32 sec and 275, 39 mph... wow, :cool:

    275!!

    As big of an accomplishment is that Brandon won his first national event and the first national event by a converter car in TAD (maybe Top Alcohol, but I don't remember if Snyder won an event before he switched to a clutch), I think his 275 speed in air that wasn't quite mine shaft (third fastest by a blown car ever) has to go down as run of the year so far. Especially considering the converter cars aren't known for their big speeds.

    I think that run is comparable to the runs that Brooks Brown and Ed Vickroy made in 1992 in their A/FD's when that combination really started coming on.

    There's not much of a case to be made for a converter car getting a 50 lb weight break anymore, but I don't think it would slow Booher down much.

    Kudos and great job. Impressive, very impressive.

    speeds

    as much as I hate to say anything because we are good friends, the incrementals point to more of a mid 272 speed, which is still damn impressive to say the least.

    Correction

    The first car to win with a converter car was Kaplan in TA/FC this year in Topeka. Canadian to boot EH! Good job to Brandon as well its always nice to see first time NAtional winners!

    did some research, Mick Snyder won the Chicago national in TAFC in 2004 with the Lencodrive.
