Maybe I missed this part of the "pay to run" battle.....BUT.....wouldn't it be much cheaper just to pay the entry fee for a car and driver and have the rest of the crew come into the track as spectators? Never paid to attend a LODRS event but it has got to be cheaper that 50 bucks a head. ( Please tell me it is!) Brownman (FNG)

Brownman, you are missing the point! As a crew person, you are paying to help put on the show. This entitles you to pay about a $30 premium for your service. Seriously, in my neck of the woods Sat and Sunday are roughly $20 each for spectators. I believe Friday way only $10 or something like that. Remember that the $50 gets you in for the entire weekend so a spectator, if there were any, could watch one day for less. I think last year, crew passes for us were $40 each above and beyond our freebies. Kudos to the Texas folks for their non-conformance to the entry fees!!!

Hey Greg......that's why they call it a brain fart! Not sure where it came from and it's already gone. Being the FNG means that no matter what I'll be paying all the tolls on this trip. Not thrilled, but did speak to D1 yesterday and they said I will get "special" parking with all you big guys! Now I got it. It's like a reserve parking fee.....just hope we gey a nice part of the grass! Brownman :D
