Just wanted to applaud Brad Littlefield's article on Mark Niver (RIP) on the last page of National Dragster. I never knew you could say so much about one person on one page. Thanks Brad

No longer get the digger. Can someone send me a PM who would be willing to scan and e-mail, or fax?

Mark was one of the best out there. Would like to read the article.

    Thank you,

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!! Only reason to look forward to 'Digger coming each week is hoping either Veney or Littlefield has written something!

Thank you for the praise. I just hoped to do justice to one of the nicest, most unique, and most family-oriented people I've been fortunate enough to know.

TV: Those are high compliments coming from you. Thanks.

I would love to read it too. I didn't know Mark sadly but always admired his race car and machining. It was spectacular.

Brad did a wonderful job putting his and other's thoughts of Mark onto Paper.

If your not getting ND anymore it isn't the same old ND of old that just had results that were two weeks late because you got them on the net already. Each issue has some very well written articles on the people that make this sport so great. In the past the ND would be in the recycling pile the same day that I got it in the mail, now though I find myself getting the latest out of the mail box before finishing the prior weeks issue.

In my opinion, ND has reinvented itself and is doing one hell of a fine job. Plus we've got to keep Brad employed somehow right?

Brad is one of the best sports writers PERIOD I have ever read. Plus, he is closer to the racers in the Alcohol Categories than any other journalists out there.

When Marked passed, I was hoping and praying Brad would be the one to write a column about him....because honestly, he is one of the few who could tell his whole story. Plus, he'd do it justice. I have not read the column yet, as I also no longer get my ND, but knowing Brad and the person Mert and Lee raised...i'm sure he knocked it out of the park.

I'm hoping he'll bring back the Indy Blog from last year. It was epic last season.

If you've got it scanned, I'd also like a copy. Tim@combust.com

Let me just say something about Brad Littlefield, we watched this kid grow up and he has spent a lot of time around our pit and he is one of the most amazing writers to ever put pen to paper about my father! The article he wrote about Mark was truly one of the best. Let me tell you that the things he said only grazed the top of what an amazing person he was. Growing up under this mans wing was an experience that cannot be described. It fills my heart with so much joy to hear the things that people say about him, especially Brad. He has always done us as a family proud for the things he has written. As for the comment to giving credit for the person that Lee and Mert raised, it can only be said that they raised one of the best. I for one always look forward to the things that (what we knew him as a kid) "Brad Stats" writes.

Thank you Brad for being the wonderful person that you are!
