brad 6 heads changing to 8x

    trying to figure if its worth changing from 6s to 8s we run on marginal 1/8 mile tracks screw blower lenco drive i shift at 8700 and go through the lights at 9400 thanks terry p

    8X heads have a different angle exhaust flange. Would need new headers. If you are on marginal tracks and not using the full potential of the power you have I don't think it would make sense to change. Just my opinion.

    They are worth about 75 hp and more rpms if I am remembering correctly. Call Jeremy at BAE and ask him if it's worth it. He'll give you an honest answer...prolly tell you to run what you have.

    took off 6s on the same deal and put on 8s and I wish I had my money back just gotta pull more out to get it down unless ur flat out and short on power id keep the 6s and spend it on other things

    I feel most brad heads are the same. If your looking to really step it up then it's mbe or nre. Aj then brads. Every pro extreme and pro boost car is using mbe / nre .

    That's the best Piece of advice you can get. It's the supercharger and cam make the most difference out of anything you can bolt on.
