The body on our Bantam is close at the front with the 3186 M.T. tire. 34.5X17X16. How much clearance would you recomend? 2" , 3" ?
    Thanks for the replys. ...Jon.

    Tire Clearence

I Run A 32 Bantum Shell, You Will Need At Least 3.5 Inches To Clear At 200mph.

    tire rub

I thought I could get away with 2-3/4. Tire rubs even at burnout. 3-1/2 sounds about rite to me. Good luck......................John

    Tire Rub

Is this measurement at ride height or with suspension bottomed out?

Same as jap steel, solid mount. Was testing on wednsday, tire was hitting body much more than before. I am going to try a m-t with a 109 roll out rather than the 112 goodyears on it now, will let you know how that works.
If you havent got your tires yet, tell your dealer you are looking for the smallest diam as possible as the tire size and roll out varies from tire to tire.
One 34.5 and anothr the same size can have very different roll outs.

I Did Not Add That We Run A 34.5 Hoosier. 16x16 Bead Lock Wheel At 6lb Air. A 36 On A Narrow Wheel Would Grow Differently. It Always Something!
