Bob Tasca

Has everyone read the Geiger counter over on NHRA.com Bob assembling a nitro Funny Car team for the 2008 racing season.Bob selected Mike Kloeber as crewchief.Kloeber's biggest accomplishments to date are the six consecutive IHRA championships and 50 national event wins he collected with Clay Millican from 2001 to 2006. He also has eight NHRA victories to his credit, having tuned the likes of Don "the Snake" Prudhomme, Jim Epler, and Cristen Powell over the years.In my opinion Mike is the Allen Johnson of crewchiefs in the IHRA with Clay Millican. Let's give him some time on the NHRA tour to get his feet wet.
Considering Tasca's and Kloeber's combined abilities, this could be a very interesting team to watch.

ah, i guess that would be .04 cents bobby, but i kinda agree. i don't think they will last a year togather.

 

Whatever they decide to do, I'd like to say "Best Of Luck" on the new Endeavor.

The Tasca Family is a great group of people. Looking forward to seeing them in the NFC class.

 

Thats sounds correct. About 6 months for the Tasca Family to win their first national event.

Hello Ralph,good to see you on here.Firstly, I am curious if you will still be involved on the team,or are you taking a break? If you will be involved,can you say what your duties will be?

Secondly,I dont think it will take long for Bob to become a "player" in his new class.I know he will do whatever it takes as he did in alcohol f/c. Ed
