Bob metzler rip

couldnt see any post on this yet, but i saw bob metzler of great lakes dragway passed away. i made my first pass at a real dragstrip in 1983 at great lakes in my 67 camaro, and have been hooked ever since! it was a great strip in the remote regions over there, but as i have learned over the years, it really was a track the (stars) of the sport have been to. being the ever flamboyant entertainer with his beer in one hand, sitting on jet
dragsters on the line, he defenitely set himself apart from the rest of the tracks. thanks, bob for all the memories!
