Hi all. Looking to put together a blown alcohol BBC for top dragster. I won't be leaning too heavily on it and want to keep it around 1500-1800 hp. Looking for your thoughts/recommendations on cylinder heads. Dart, Brodix, Sonny's? Others? Thanks.

A really good 8-71 and fuel system will be in that HP range while just using ported Dart 360's.

So I would use a 14-71 and see what kind of deals you can find for the long block.

X2 on the Dart 360's plenty of flow potential, plus you can get them solid if needed.

We have been having excellent luck with our conventional Brodix 2x's at about that performance level. They are holding gaskets well and the T&D rocker shafts are trouble free.
Unfortunately, the only thing I have to compare them to are a set of ported Canfields that had next to zero life span with repeated failures.
I do not know how they compare, from a performance or durability point of view, to Darts or any of the others, but I believe they are also available as solid heads.

The Brodix 3 XTRA cnc woulds be my first choice but the 360 Dart is also a quality head. Use T&D shaft rockers with one piece intake stands.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Sounds like I can't go wrong with the Brodix or Dart options. Much appreciated.
