Hoosier is the best bang for your buck, depends on who you ask if Goodyear is better....but at around $400 cheaper per set Hoosier can't be beat. C2055 compound is the way to go. We ran the M/T in our outlaw dragster and they did.... o.k., but if I was running them I'd want to put a fresh set on every weekend. We saw quite a bit of down track spin with the M/T and zero with the Hoosier. I know M/T has stepped up their deal with the ADRL, I'm not sure if their compound or composition has changed; just stating my results from the past.

In my experience, hoosiers worked the best for me! Seems like they worked better on the warmer tracks. One thing to be careful with is the sidewalls. I believe Hoosier still makes two types of tires for your size. I bought one and the side wall was to big, but the old one worked fine. The backspacing was way off. After looking into it I found out little to late. I believe it was a c2055. Maybe some other guys can remember. Just trying to save you a little heart ache.

    Hoosiers

Thank you all for the help, I am now a real hoosier fan, We were at Sacramento last weekend and as all the rest of the races were slipping and slidding around the track these new tires hooked hard at the hit and did not give it up at all. and no tire shake !!!!!!

Thanks again for all of the help
