blower overdrive

    with a hi-helix retro what kind of over drive? 41 on the bottom and 25/26/27 on top?..Dave

    41/25 = 64%
    41/26 = 57.7%
    41/27 = 51.9%

    Depends on crank shaft rpm, need to look at rotor rpm. But thats PUSHING it! Been there, done it:eek:

    i have spun mine as much as 60* over but 57.7* over is what i run all the time i couldnt tell much difference i didnt think you had to spin the newer blowers that had to make good boost

    How about a 60* degree rotor. Where does it peter out? Same 57.7% or something else?

    If I remember correctly the max RPM the rotors should turn are around 13000-14000 rpm. Given this you can use your max engine RPM and see what the blower RPM is.
