I'm in the process of constructing a manifold for my engine with 2" runners. Am concerned that a vee on the bottom is too directional. (unable to buy as heads are rare)
Have 16/71 h-h retro. Set back will be 2"
I note that the chyrsler design has a very slight radius and has radiused divider entry to the runners.
Should I set mine up similar to this or is a 45 degree vee not an issue and are the radiuses to the runners not over important.

I have a TBS tented floor intake on my blown SBC. The tent is standard, it has no variations for ports.

I have cast and built sheet metal manifolds for my own engine, and have studied several popular designs and have concluded that with 40 lbs. of manifold pressure, it doesn't really matter what the design of the plenum or port is. I would radius sharp corners though.
