Blower Insert checks

I have heard rumors of a blower 'insert' check that was made in Las Vegas this weekend. Any truth to that rumor? Dave Germain

 

That is correct.

Dave, I think people are spreading rumours about $5000 inserts and costs are too high. In response, NHRA did check most of our blowers and took pictures of same. So there are no secrets. The cost for our insert is no where close to $5000 and is available to all at DMPE. Does it help, you all decide. It is only one part of the puzzle. Some teams have tried them and taken them off, I do like ours. Les Davenport and others make a great one as well. Using what we already have is more important, the trick of the week is not the focus. Be smart and get your cars out there and have fun, that's what counts.

If you can't afford an insert...sell your shit and buy and A/Fuel car, they don't have an insert. I'm telling you the insert is nothing special...we have gone quicker and faster without it.

So while they're checking injectors how about checking some of those huge a /fuel injectors? If a square foot is 144 square inches how many square inches are in 65 square inches?
