Blower Belt Question

I currently run a 14mm belt that is 3.3 wide. When i called up to get a new belt he said this is an oddball size and its one of the most expensive belts as well.

Am I able to go to a more narrow belt? ie 2.6 and have it be more common and cheaper. and if so do I just change the idler pulley??

526" Brad 5, 14-71psi for basic motor info.

How wide is your idler and pulleys?

 

idler is 3.4 bottom pulley is 3.5. dont have the top with me but assume its 3.5 as well

 

I would not go to a narrower belt. Do you what length your belt is? What are the numbers on it? Is it an 8mm, 11mm, 13.9mm or 14mm pitch?
