Bill Mohrs Supermag Electronic crank trigger box???...

Does anybody know how that Mallory Mag crank trigger box That Bill Mohr is making is coming along??? Spoke to Bill awhile ago earlier on in year and he was thinking it would be ready by now.Anybody know about this???
Also has anybody ever managed to make a Msd points box work with a 8 amp Mallory supermag? Ive been told it wont work by Spud miller but just wondering if anybody ever tried this before?and any results?
