big block chevy heads

    Thinking about next year but what are the heads to buy for big block chevy?

    We currently run billet morgan heads,

    How fast are you looking to go, as far a conventional heads you pretty much have the best already.

    RFD has some Edelbrock HIP casting conventionals that are flowing over 500CFM, but they are water heads.

    They also offer a billet head but I think they are close to $5000 per head.

    Fast as possible, to date run 6.42 @ 191mph (1000 foot pass) but we want to run as fast as possible with combo.

    Full pass on that run worked out around 6.28/9 ish but was tame pass shifting at 8k launched at 4k,

    car has got a teen run in it this year but thinking of next year and want to go fast.

    Gotta be a billet head,

    If these don't get you there, look at a different blower, I guess.

    blower is 14/71 K11 - does need a refresh though,

    I've ran gt performance profiler solid heads. Great power and consistancy with good valve locations. We made 2375hp at 20 on 525 Chevy. With a m5
