Big block Chevy 0.842" lifters

    What do people recommend? Its a long time since we have used .842" (as we now use .904" in our other Chevy)

    This will be going into a Gen 6 block (taller lifter bores)

    Standard deck height

    Isky redzone have been good for us, I think we have about 6 or 7 sets now and have only recked any when the lifter bore gets wore out or the valves smacked the pistons big time... as in the cam stopped moving:(

    Crower Maximus. We use them in our hemi and they have over 70 runs on them.
    I can get you there new lifter that have bushings in them and no roller bearings, great lifter. Pm me and let me know.

    Do you know how loose the lifter bores were? We run a Chevy with offset lifters and the bores are getting scary. It's working good now but they are bronze liners and a pain to change.

    We use .904 isky redzone with 450lbs seat and 9000rpm.

    Unfortunately I don't have any clearance numbers for you, I would think a automotive machine shop would know this.

    Thanks for replies guys, not looking for the cheapest really (will help) but more the best value - anyone use Comp cams Elite?
