bent rims?

Does anyone out there repair bent rims I have 3 convopros slighty bent?

I would have to believe that no shop with a sign out front would straighten a bent wheel that was intended for drag racing. You might could find an individual with a sledgehammer in the back alley maybe. I know I would not run a wheel that had been straightened. I might on my golf cart, though.

 

there was a add in Rod and Custom mag. that straighten's all types of wheels.Dave

 

I've had a local guy here in Wichita, KS do several for me, drag racing and street stuff. He's an older guy with not one precise looking tool or measuring equipment to be seen in his little shop. He won't put a polished finish on it but the things are straight. The first drag wheel I took to him (Front Aluma Star) I did a run-out check and compared it to a factory one and the reworked one was actually straighter. We had a NDI inspection done after the repair to assure there were no crack. Let me know if you're interested.
