I have a tube bending question which I probably know the answer to already but!!!!!! I'll ask anyway
I have to put a 180* bend in 1 5/8 dom tubing using a Mittler Bros bender 1 5/8 die 7in radius can it be done? And how do I do it? The die set is only meant to bend 95* or so. The piece I am trying to duplicate looks like it was bent using the above method because at the center of the radius there is a small hiccup for lack of a better term. The center to center distance is approx. 12 inches.
I need help on this asap gotta tell the cust. whether we can do this or not.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Yes you can. It is what I call a 1/2 and 1/2 bend. Bend a 90 and reposition the start of the second 90 at the end of the first. This is where an anti spring back fixture comes in handy.
