This is off their website in the FAQ section. Looks like some word games written in there but they say they will re-web and put a sticker on it. Who knows if the SFI tag is good for two days or two years the way this is written. I'll keep my Stroud stuff, I've had no nonsense from them.

"Can you recertify my old Impact restraints?

We do not "recertify" your restraint systems, but Impact's quality hardware and on-site manufacturing allow us to reweb your Impact! Restraint Systems at a substantial savings over buying a new set of belts. Service includes inspection, webbing replacement if necessary with a new/current SFI 16.1 certification tag. This service is only available for Impact! products, we will not work on other brands of belts.

** Please note: SFI Foundation will NOT allow 16.1 certification or recertification of Y-Type Shoulders."

    Belt Re-cert

RCI charged me $60 to re-cert, that included shipping back to me. What I got was new belts with the camlock serviced and four extra months added to the punch date. Great service and quick. They also sell the "Platinum" belts which makes the first re-cert no charge. They re-cert all other makers belts.

Hey Blown Alky we called Impact about the recert, they said they will reweb and service the camlock for $80.00 in a one week turnaround. This is a substantial savings, needless to say they have my buisness.

No one re-certifys belts without re-webbing them per SFI rules.

"four extra months added to the punch date" was probally an error as that is not SFI approved.

Hey, that's good to hear. Talked Bob Stroud last week as my cam-lock harness needs a re-cert. He said $50. I didn't ask about the turn around time as I have a few months, LOL. Good luck with whoever you go with.
